Northbound respects your privacy and handles your personal data under the GDPR. Below is exactly what we collect, why, and what your rights are — in plain language.

1Who we are

2What we collect

• What you enter yourself. If you fill in the form or leave your email address for the Growth Audit, we collect your name, email address and the URL of your store.
• Technical data. Through cookies and measurement scripts we collect data about your visit: which pages you view, for how long, on which device, and which source you arrived from.
• Session recordings. We use Microsoft Clarity, which makes anonymous recordings of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks on our own site. It shows us where visitors get stuck. Anything you type into a form field is masked.

3Why we use it

Only to contact you about our services, to judge whether working together is a fit, and to measure and improve our own advertising and website. Legal basis: your consent and/or our legitimate interest.

4Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help the site and our communication work, each under their own privacy policy:

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — the Meta pixel, for measuring and optimising ads
• Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and behaviour analysis of our own site
• HubSpot — sending the Growth Audit, scheduling calls, and keeping track of contacts and browsing behaviour on this site
• Netlify — hosting this website

5Cookies, the Meta pixel and session recordings

This website uses cookies and measurement scripts to measure visitor behaviour and optimise advertising. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working either way. To opt out of Microsoft Clarity specifically, use the Microsoft privacy statement.

6How long we keep it

We keep your data no longer than needed for the purpose we collected it for, or as long as the law requires. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we delete your profile entirely on request.

7Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email efe@northboundgp.com — you will get an answer within 30 days.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
